XFC Grand Prix Series

Fighters Wanted

 

 

 

Australia -

XFC are seeking applications for participants the XFC Grand Prix series. XFC is currently planning

tournaments in ALL weight classes in both traditional Mixed Martial Arts and the very exciting Xtreme

Muay Thai.

 

We are kick-starting 2006 with the Light Heavyweight tourney at 93kg. Confirmed participants include Brazil's Pedro Galliza & XFC veteran Dave Frendin.

 

The financial reward for the fighters is unprecedented within Australian MMA -

Winner - $2000 Cash

Runner-up - $750

First Round Losers & Alternates - $200 App. each.

*XFC shall cover all costs including flights, accommodation & transfers for the participant and 1 corner

person.

 

Structure

4 fighters compete in a single elimination tourney decided on one night. We will further conduct an alternate

bout on the evening as a curtain raiser. naturally the winning alternate fighter shall act as a reserve for the

final in case of injury.

 

Further the winning alternate fighter shall gain # 2 contendership to the title and shall (should he not progress

due to injury) fight the loosing finalist on the next event to determine the #1 challenger to the tournament

winner.

 

With the strong cash commitment and superb conditions XFC expect the events to be feature some of

Australia & New Zealand's best fighters. Although the goal of the events is to determine Australia's best

fighters within their respective weight classes we have not ruled out the possibility of including internationals

as well.
