World Pro Fighting

Press Release

Ivan Gulas, is pleased to announce the formation of WPF Media, and its acquisition of exclusive global

media rights to World Pro Fighting Championships. Partners in the World Pro Fighting, include Chris

MacNeill, whose company, MAC Productions, in affiliation with Guilty Boxing, has produced the last two

World Extreme Fighting Championships at the Orleans Arena, and has recently terminated that affiliation

World Extreme Fighting, and MMA manager, and publisher of the eZine Man-Magazine, Jeroen Winters

(Holland), along with others who are involved with the professional sport of MMA in Europe, Asia and the US.

WPF, while completely international in its agenda, will continue to make its’ US home base at the Orleans

Arena, Las Vegas, where events will continue on a bi-monthly basis.

Since acquiring media rights to World Extreme Fighting last year, Gulas has become a strong advocate of

both, international competitions, and the transition of MMA from its origins as a fringe, underground and

unregulated brawl in a cage, to its rightful place as a mainstream professional sporting event. “I have now

seen some of the very best athletes in the world competing in this sport, and conducting themselves with

honor, and with respect for their opponents and the sport”, states Gulas, “and professional standards and

conduct is a must for both athletes and management, to solidify this transition.”

Gulas, credits UFC for establishing MMA as a legitimate and regulated sport in the US. His decision to

create WPF Media, and to help spearhead WPF was the commitment by all involved to the highest

professional conduct and standards established for this sport in Nevada, and other States and Counties.

Jeroen Winters, whose on-line publication is receiving about four million hits per month, has also been active

as an MMA manager. Through his various roles in the MMA World, he has forged very close ties with leading

professional MMA organizations globally. He shares Gulas’ vision for WPF to become an ally and willing

strategic partner to all professional MMA organizations, and their fighters, who share similar standards.
