World Pro Fighting Announces U.S. PPV Debut
View on December 22, 2006. ‘WPF: Las Vegas Steel Cage Challenge’ is distributed nationally for TV PPV by TVN Entertainment Corp., the leading television on-demand Company.

This event marks the first WPF production for Gulas, who prior to becoming a partner in the WPF, had produced four other major MMA events in the last 12 months. Gulas, formally Co-Chairman of Pacific Title/Mirage, one of Hollywood ’s oldest and most respected optical and digital studios, and since, producer of films, TV and HomeDVD projects, described Mixed Martial Arts as the fastest growing sport globally. “A combination of traditional combat and fighting styles, including Boxing, Mauy Thai/Taekwondo, Judo, Jiu-Jitsu, Karate, and Wrestling, WPF Championships offer spectators one of the most exciting, yet, ironically safest, individual competitive sporting event” states Gulas.
Partners in the Las Vegas based, WPF-USA includes, Holland based Jeroen Winters, publisher of MAT- Magazine and the legendary Las Vegas Show producer, John Stuart. “each fighter bringing their unique regional fighting style, but competing under one set of rules” states John Stuart, “while the names of the WPF’s fighters may not be well known in the US, their skills and fighting spirit are unforgettable.”
The Las Vegas Steel Cage Challenge features fighters from Holland , Germany , Japan , Great Britain and the USA . The card also includes Las Vegas based Gina Carano, the first female MMA fighter sanctioned in Nevada, against Rosie Sexton, the female MMA Champion from England.
