This past Thursday night at the Spectacular San Manuel Indian Bingo & Casino in Highland, California,

World Extreme Cagefighting put on an Awesome show (highly organized) which showcased two title fights

plus six featured bouts that had the crowd cheering from start to finish. WEC World Lightweight Champion

Hermes Franca defended his title with a 40 second submission win over a game Brandon Olsen while

Justin Eilers came out on top in his match against Jimmy Ambriz for the WEC World Super Heavyweight

Title - Ambriz injured his left bicep and after the first round ended, the Doctor checked his arm and

determined he could not continue. Notables in attendance - UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Chuck

Liddell, former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Tito Ortiz, The Ultimate Fighter 3 cast members Kendall

Grove, Solomon Hutcherson and Matt Hamill, The Ultimate Fighter 2 cast member Josh Burkman and

television and film star Laura Prepon. This easily goes down as one of the Best events we have ever
