sponsored by the Lion of Asia....Singha Beer.

Ethan Cox (+120) vs. Wrath White (Even)

The giants of Muaythai….the Super Heavyweights will start off the evening with thunderous blows. Veteran

Wrath White steps into the ring off a five year hiatus…now back training with his original coach, Kru Sam

Phimsoutham look for plenty of knee and elbow strikes from the big fella as he tries to put away Cox early.

The southpaw Cox brings a powerful straight left and hard low kicks into the fray as he will try to test

White’s conditioning and get him into deep water and close the show in the later rounds. White has reach

and the traditional Thai style of fighting while Cox has recent activity and heart…Give White the slight edge,

but don’t expect this one to go the distance.

Jared Lara (-110) vs. Val Leedy (-110)

Fascinating bout between two fighters with a lot more experience than their professional records would

indicate. Val Leedy has long toiled in the MMA world fighting consistently well with devastating knees, kicks

and punching. His defeats have come only when the fight goes to the ground, so this fight should showcase

his best attributes. However, one has to wonder if his striking power will be diminished when using regulation

boxing gloves instead of MMA gloves. Jared Lara has been on a roll of late…and is becoming a WCK fan

favorite with his relentless style of fighting. Known for stopping his opponents via bruising low kicks and

vicious uppercuts and knees, Lara wants to set the pace of the fight and use his combinations to chop

Leedy down….Leedy certainly will welcome Lara’s style and try to catch him coming in with a decisive blow.

This one is a tossup…

Christine Toledo (-160) vs. Maiko Katsuyama (+130)

Will revenge be sweet for Las Vegas resident Christine Toledo. The last time these two met, Maiko beat the

undefeated Toledo. Unfortunately the bout was just heating up between the two when Toledo went down with

a knee injury. Now fast forward two years and both of these fighters are now pro and want closure on a bout

that was main event for an amateur show. Both fighters have stayed busy…Maiko fighting in the tough

Japanese circuit and Toledo with taking bouts in New York and Thailand. Toledo has had excellent training

from both Master Chan of Fasi Sports and her original trainer Kru Sam Phimsoutham for this bout.

Katsuyama is a non stop offensive machine coming from Sachiyo Shibata’s camp, so Toledo must have

enough gas in the tank or the complexion of the fight could change quickly.

Joe Sarkissian (-120) vs. Dave Smith (Even)

Two young rising stars of WCK face off against each other early in their careers with no hesitation by either

camp. California champion, Smokin Joe Sarkissian is training full time will Kru Dobler and is looking more

composed and less frenetic. With increased emphasis on elbow and clinch and knee work, Sarkissian is

slowly becoming the total Muaythai fighting package. Focus and concentration are key to this bout for

Sarkissian as lapses in past bouts have created openings that got him knocked down. Dave Smith is the

young protégé under the guidance of Muaythai instructor Nick Blomgren a Vegas institution. Smith has

power in both hands, but most of his recent experience has been in MMA. This again leads to the question

of conditioning and whether or not he will be the same fighter in the later rounds. Sarkissian a battle tested

Marine definitely comes in shape and will burn all five rounds…give him the slight edge in a close bout.

Sachiyo Shibata (-180) vs. Semma Yerlice (+150)

Pound for pound Sachiyo Shibata has been called the best female fighter in the world. In her native Japan,

no one will step into the ring with her forcing a premature decision to retire in Japan and only fight abroad.

Almost three years ago, Shibata came to Las Vegas as the challenger only to dominate and beat the then

reigning queen of Muaythai….the highly regarded Ilonka Elmont. Now Shibata comes into this fight as the

hunted against one of Europe’s upcoming female stars. However, Sachiyo Shibata throws every kick and

punch with bad intentions and is an intense fighter who presses every minute of every round. She has

dominated the 112 lbs. Division and looks to extend her reign as the Princess of Pain. Her opponent, Sema

Yerlice comes to the United States for the first time with a reputation as a fierce fighter who is not afraid to

throw elbows. Yerlice will experience tremendous pressure by Shibata, but will have some openings to hurt

Shibata if she has the power. Shibata has a granite chin and has a “takes no prisoner” attitude that is

exciting to watch. Yerlice will have to stay composed and control the infighting if she is to be victorious, but

Shibata looks very tough.

Kang En (Even) vs. Kongnapa (-130)

Two powerhouse martial arts countries China and Thailand pit two of their best in a battle for bragging rights

between a young undefeated Chinese champion Kang En and the legendary former Muaythai Lumpinee and

Rajadamnern stadium champion Kongnapa. Las Vegas resident, Kongnapa has been training furiously for

this bout in his adopted hometown. Coming off a win over Toby Grear in November, Kongnapa looks to have

shed off the cobwebs and regained his timing. Kang En has fought all over the world with victories in Europe,

Australia and the United States. He has exceptional punching power especially in his left hand and it seems

certain that Kongnapa will test that power early to see if he can walk right through him. If Kang En can pass

the test, this fight will see saw back and forth as both fighters have impressive arsenals. Give Kongnapa the

edge as he will have many supporters at the fight to give him an emotional lift.

Malaipet Team Diamond (-300) vs. Jiangtao Dong (+180)

Little known here in the USA, Jiangtao Dong carries a big reputation in China. Exhibiting an arsenal of kicks

(high & low) and punches, the young fighter is improving his knee strikes and elbows by winning a close

decision and surprising former Rajadamnern champion, Thaiken Cai in Shenzhen, China. However, Malaipet

Team Diamond has faced and beat every Muaythai fighter put in front of him in the past three years. His

dominating performances have led him to dabble in MMA where he is quickly becoming a superstar as well.

Malaipet is one of the hardest kickers in the world with the sound of every kick resonating throughout the

venue. Along with spinning elbows and power in both hands, he is a force that will be hard to deal with. Dong

has shown in previous bouts great hand speed and an intelligence in ringmanship that could frustrate his

opponent. Dong must control the pace of this fight and not let it become a slugfest that he will not win. Dong

is training Muaythai 24/7 now where Malaipet is spending more time with MMA, this could be telling late in

the fight. Still you must respect the undefeated record of Malaipet during the past three years, and on the

big stage look for Malaipet Team Diamond to shine bright.

Shane Del Rosario (-120) vs. Guinty Vrede (Even)

Nothing gets better than a World Heavyweight Title fight. When both fighters come in with a combined

record of 27-1 with 27 KO’s, WCK fight fans can expect an epic war that will end decisively. Shane “No

Limits” Del Rosario is the reigning WBC Muaythai World Champion having KO’d Richard Van de Bos in the

second round in September. Trained by Colin Oyama who has produced many World Champion fighters

both in Muaythai and MMA, Shane Del Rosario has energized the heavyweight division with youth and

devastating power in both his hand and kicks. In making his first WBC Muaythai defense in the fight capital

of the world, this is his coming out party and staring at him from across the ring is his European equivalent,

Ginty Vrede who is knocking out all comers at a 100% rate. Vrede who is quickly being compared to K-1

superstar Remy Bojansky knows a victory will catapult him to the upper echelon in the world. Already

ranked number eight by the WBC Muaythai, Vrede has vicious low kicks that are delivered with speed and

precision. His right hand has put many of his opponents to sleep and his powerful knee strikes are thrown

with exceptional leverage….Who is better you ask….That is why this fight was made…to find out. Give

Shane “No Limits” Del Rosario the edge as he will be fighting in the United States and won’t have any travel

fatigue, but Dutch fighters are a tough lot…Either way someone based on their records will taste the canvas.
