WBC NEWS The WBC Declares Vacant World Light Flyweight Championship
positive result in methanphetamin exams for Omar Niņo, after his bout against Brian Viloria last August 10th.
The WBC considers that Niņo has not voluntarily incurred in this fault and due to his clean career and the lack of uniformity within process made in Nevada, if its compared with our rules, we declare as well that Niņo will be challenger of the new world champion.
Number one ranked, Brian Viloria, from USA, should fight against number 2, Mexican Edgar Sosa.
The WBC is obligated to respect the tests results made in Nevada, with whom we always have had good relationship, and we are obligated also to respect that Commission disposition, specially when tests were presented as positives.
