World Boxing Association News WBA 87th Annual Convention Bulletin #4

TO: ALL MEMBERS AND ASSOCIATES FROM: WBA PRESIDENCY
We would like to remind all our members and associates that the World Boxing Association will hold its 87th Annual Convention at the Barceló Bavaro Palace Hotel of Punta Cana, Dominican Republic from September 29 to October 4, 2008.
Following, we give you additional information: - The tax to enter Punta Cana is $10 and the tax to leave is $20. - The Convention Registration cost this year will $200 for main participant and $100 for companion. - Restaurants and Bars in the Complex
Barceló Bávaro Palace - Buffet Caribe: Breakfast, lunch and dinner: 7:00 a 10:00 a.m. – 12:30 a 3:00 p.m. – 6:30 a 10:00 p.m. - Rincón Dominicano: Lunch and Dinner – at the Pool - La Piña: At the beach. 9:00 a.m. a 5:00 p.m - El Bohío: Restaurant-Snack-Bar. - 5 bares: lobby bar “MAMEY”, bar piscina “CANEY”, pool snack bar “BOHIO”, bar playa “LA PIÑA” y “LA BRISA.
Chez Palace: Gourmet Restaurant – French cuisine (not included in the All inclusive Packaged)
Nota: Guests of the Barceló Bávaro Palace also have full access to the other restaurants in our extensive complex.
Barceló Bavaro Beach - Ambar: Restaurant Buffet. Breakfast, lunch and dinner - México Lindo: Mexican Restaurant. Closed with air conditioned - Cena Steak House : Meat Restaurant. Lunch and Dinner. - Pizza Take-away: Pizza y Sandwich to take away. - 3 bares: lobby bar “CAREY”, swimming pool bar “COCO ” and the beach bar “CORAL”.
Barceló Bávaro Caribe Beach - Orquídea: Restaurant Buffet. Breakfast, lunch and dinner - Los Pinos: Italian Restaurant – Lunch and Dinner. - Pizza Take-away: Pizza y Sandwich to take away. - 2 bars: lobby bar “FLAMBOYAN”, swimming pool bar “BUGANVILIA”
Barceló Bávaro Casino - Mirador : Restaurant Buffet. Breakfast, lunch and dinner - La Fuente: Spanish food (No incluido en el paquete “ All Inclusive”) - 3 Bars: Lobby Bar “Black Jack” , Sank bar swimming pool “Albaros” and Bar “Casino”.
Barceló Bávaro Golf - Las Cañas: Restaurante Buffet. Abierto al desayuno, almuerzo y cena. - La Uva: Almuerzo. - Bar – Sank: “BAMBU”: continental Breakfast and afternoon snaks

For the transportation within the Complex, guests can use the free service of the train that goes around the complex every 15 minutes – from 8:00 am to 3:00 am.
