W1 Weigh-in Update

W1 – INCEPTION is here. On Saturday March 28^th, the cage door is finally open to twenty four of the

toughest fighters the country has seen. The event is headlined by former UFC Champion Carlos ‘The

Ronin’ Newton facing Ottawa’s own Nabil ‘The Thrill’ Khatib. Also featured on the event is Mark ‘Boots’

Holst, Martin ‘The Hammer’ Grandmont, Glenn ‘The Kulkster’ Kulka, Craig ‘Farmer’ Brown, Remi

‘Bam Bam’ Morvan and some of the top talent the country has produced.

Due to a request made by the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux, W1 have decided that the

official weigh-ins for W1 – INCEPTION will not be made open to the public. Instead of having the weigh-ins

open to the media and fans, the results of the weigh-ins will be announced on FRIDAY MARCH 27^TH at 3PM

at the HARD ROCK CAFE  on 73 York Street. The W1 competitors will face with their opponents for the first

time and be available for pictures and interviews with the media.

There are still tickets available but do not hesitate as W1 – INCEPTION is a can’t-miss event for all MMA

fans and thrill seekers in the capital region. Tickets are on sale at TICKETMASTER.ca or by calling (613)
