U.S. Pankration National Championships Updated Information

New Information The 2009 FILA World Championships will be held September 11-14 in Lithuania. We will try to fund some if not all Athletes travel expenses to the Championships.
2008 National Champions will be top seeded for the 2009 US World Team Trials in July 2009. All Tournament placers from sanctioned 2008/2009 events will be able to compete to be on the US Team at the World Team trials.
Information on the 2008 Nationals Amateur Fighters Only Rules allow Submissions, Takedowns and Body strikes. Double elimination tournament.
This is now an Open Tournament Pre-Registration only and space is limited. 2008 Tournament placers will receive seeded positions in the brackets. $60 Registration fee - Team discounts available Spectators $8 adults & $5 kids
Individual And Team Awards One of a kind Championship Belts awarded to all Men's Division Champions. Custom Engraved National Championships Medals Awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finalists. Top 4 Placers receive Pankration All American Status & Certificate.

- GYM - B 9:30 AM - Ages 7 and under 10:30 AM - Ages 8 - 10 yrs
11:30 AM - Ages 11 - 13
yrs 9:30 AM - Women Division (14 yrs and over) 9:30 AM - Junior Men Division (14 - 17 yrs) 12:30 PM - Men's Division (18 and over) 4:30 PM - Men's Championship medal matches 6:00 PM - End of Tournament

- Boys and Girls 11 to 13 yrs (8 "Man" Double elimination brackets) 80lbs 95lbs 110lbs 125lbs 140lbs Heavyweight
- Boys and Girls 8-10 yrs ((8 "Man" Double elimination brackets) 65lbs 77lbs 90lbs 105lbs Heavyweight
