Fight 11 - Catchweight Bout (Alves didn't make the 170lb welterweight limit) Thiago Alves wins by TKO (knee \ strikes) at 1:02 of the second round over Matt Hughes In the second round, Hughes looked to have injured his left knee when he fell on it awkwardly after being hit in the face with a knee from Alves (his leg a bit stretched out to the side of him, coming down on it sideways and back) - Alves then quickly jumped on the downed Hughes and the ref jumped in and stopped the bout.
