UFC 61 Results Silva vs. Liddell Announced

The UFC announced that light heavyweight champion Chuck Liddell will face PRIDE middleweight champion Wanderlei Silva in November - If Liddell can get past Renato Sobral at UFC 62 on August 26th (2006). Silva will participate in the semi-final round (and possibly the final round) of PRIDE's Open-weight Grand Prix tournament on September 10th (2006).

Fight 8 - Welterweight Bout Josh Burkman wins a three round unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28) over Josh Neer
Fight 9 - Heavyweight Title Bout Tim Sylvia wins a five round unanimous decision (49-46, 48-47, 48-47) over Andrei Arlovski - Sylvia retains title.
