PPV televised bout order: Fight 1 - Middleweight Bout Mike Swick wins by submission (guillotine choke) at 2:19 of the first round over Joe Riggs Rd 1 - touch gloves - both circle the cage a little - Swick using the jab - Swick throws an outside Thai kick - Riggs misses with a high kick - Swick lands a round house kick to the mid-section - Swick using the jab (misses) - both measuring each other - Riggs acts like he's going to shoot and Swick comes in and clinches - Riggs pushes Swick against the cage - Riggs pulls back and lands a right hand - both in center of the ring - Swick lands a high kick to the head of Riggs (partially blocked by the gloves) - Riggs shoots in - Swick sprawls - Swick goes for the guillotine - Swick pulls full guard with the guillotine and Riggs taps.
Fight 2 - Heavyweight Bout Brandon Vera wins by submission (guillotine choke) at 2:39 of the first round over Assuerio Silva Rd 1 - touch gloves - Vera throws a left high kick that is blocked - Comes back with a front push kick - Vera tries an overhand right - Vera changes to south paw (going back and forth) - they circle - Silva tries a front high kick but Vera moves - Vera throws a few jabs - Silva counters with a low Thai kick - Silva attempts a high kick which Vera blocks - Vera comes back with his own high kick that Silva blocks - Both fighters using the jab - Silva attempts a round-house to the mid-section (blocked) with the right leg and throws a low Thai kick with the left leg - both circling, throwing jabs - Vera tries to block a punch and accidentally pokes Silva in the eye - ref calls time to check Silva - Silva okay - fight resumes - Silva delivers a hard round house to the side of the body that connects - Vera throws a jab (doesn't connect) - Silva throws a spinning 180 that misses - Vera comes with a left round house that blocked - Vera comes back in with a low Thai kick - Silva connects with a kick that pushes Vera to his butt - Vera right away pulls sitting guard - Vera tries to sweep Silva - Silva balancing out - Vera pushes away and gets up - Silva pushes Vera against they cage - Silva goes for a single leg - Vera gores for a guillotine - Silva lifts Vera above his head and slam him down - Vera holds the guillotine and gets full guard with Silva's hand trapped between Vera's leg's and Silva's body - Silva unable to push away or push out - Silva taps.
Fight 3 - Welterweight Bout Diego Sanchez wins a unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28) over John Alessio Rd 1 - Sanchez spent most of the first round trying to take Alessio down - Alessio did a good job landing the jab and stuffing all the takedowns. Rd 2 - Sanchez gets more aggressive with his takedown attempts - Actually gets Alessio down once but Alessio went to his back and stood right back up - Alessio utilizing the jab is able to cut Sanchez above the right eye - Sanchez however was able to connect with a few punches as he came in for takedown attempts. Rd 3 - Alessio still utilizing the jab - trying to keep Sanchez at bay - Sanchez still pushing forward - Alessio attempted a high kick that was blocked - Alessio attempts a flying knee, Sanchez able to block it and grab Alessio's leg and pushes Alessio down - Alessio gets right back up but Sanchez gets his back - Sanchez on Alessio's back - trying for a rear naked choke - both still standing - Alessio walks over to his corner calmly with Sanchez on his back - Sanchez still trying for the choke - Alessio has Sanchez's hand over his shoulder holding his down so Sanchez can't do anything - With about six seconds left, Sanchez is able to pull his hand out and started punching (none really landed) - round ends. Crowd booed the decision.
Fight 4 - Light Heavyweight Bout Dean Lister wins by submission (triangle choke) at 2:20 of the first round over Alessio Sakara Rd 1 - touch gloves - Lister goes for a high kick hat is blocked - Lister goes for a straight right and lands it - Sakara counters with a left jab - Lister shoots, ties up and pulls guard - Lister goes for a shoulder lock - Sakara pulls out - Lister back in open guard - Lister delivers a couple of short elbows - Lister goes for a triangle - Sakara tries to pull up - Lister holds onto Sakara's foot - Sakara falls on his butt - Lister holding the triangle and squeezes - Sakara taps.
Fight 5 - Welterweight Bout Matt Hughes wins by TKO at 4:39 of the first round over Royce Gracie Rd 1 - they come to the center - Gracie throws a jab and a low kick - Gracie throws a few low inside kicks - Hughes lands a left - Hughes lands a low Thai kick - Gracie lands another low inside Thai kick - Hughes counters with his own inside kick - they tie up - Hughes lands a knee - Gracie tries an elbow - Hughes spins around him - they go to the ground with Hughes in side mount - Hughes controlling Gracie -Hughes traps Gracie right arm in between his legs - Gracie rolls over, puts Hughes in half-guard - Hughes from half-guard going for an Americana - Hughes can't get it - Hughes passes Gracie's half-guard - Hughes traps Gracie's arm in between his lags again in side mount - Gracie tries to roll over - Hughes gets his back - Hughes sinks in the hooks and flattens Gracie out - Hughes starts to deliver punches to the side of the head of Gracie - after a few punches land, ref steps in and stops the bout.
Fight 6 - Lightweight Bout Spencer Fisher wins by knockout at 1:43 of the second round over Matt Wiman RD 1 - touch gloves - Wiman comes in and they tie up - Fishers delivers a few knees in the clinch - Wiman pushes Fisher against the cage - Wiman trying to take Fisher down - Fisher has double underhooks - They struggle a little - Fisher delivers a knee - Wiman goes for a single leg - Fisher counters and stops the takedown - Wiman holding the Fishers leg and finally takes Fisher down with a single leg - Fisher in the butterfly guard - Fisher gets open-guard - Wiman trying to punch - Fisher tries to stand - Wiman gets a guillotine and the full guard - Fisher is able to break away from the guillotine - Fisher rolls over and Wiman is on his back - Wiman still on Fishers back - Wiman with a body triangle - Fisher blocking Wiman's punches - Fisher rolls and Wiman goes for the mount - Fisher keeps rolling, pushes away and gets up - they both clinch again - Fisher lands a couple of knees - Fisher lands a jumping knee from the clinch - Wiman holding on - Wiman goes to his back on the ground - Wiman tries to punch - Fisher on top and the hord sounds to end the round - Wiman cut on the forehead from an elbow. Rd 2 - Wiman talking to Fisher before round starts - both exchange kicks - Wiman throws an overhand right that's blocked - Wiman shoots in and pulls Fisher into his guard - Fisher trying to land a few elbows - Fisher pulls up and out, stands-up - Fisher showing some offence - Wiman gets Fisher in the guard - Fisher trying to land a few punches from the guard - Fisher pulls up and out - both stand - they both exchange punches - they clinch - Fisher lands two knees - both exchange punches - Fisher lands a right hook that dazes Wiman a little - Wiman moves back and Fisher comes in with a flying knee while Wiman ducks - the knee lands right on the side of the head - Wiman goes down and out.
Fight 7 - Lightweight Bout Melvin Guillard wins by knockout at 1:37 of the first round Rick Davis Rd 1- both come in and Guillard lands a few punches and a low Thai kick - Guillard lands a few punches and clinches - Guillard lands a couple of knees - they pull apart - Davis switching stances - Davis throws a side kick that hits Guillard's knee - both exchange round house kicks - both exchange punches - Guillard throws a combo and lands a straight right that send Davis down - Davis gets right back up - Guillard comes in - Davis lands a knee and they separate - they circle - Guillard comes in with an overhand right and knocks Davis out.
Fight 8 - Heavyweight Bout Gabriel Gonzaga wins by TKO at :24 of the second round over Fabiano Scherner Rd 1 - both fighter came out and exchanged blows - Scherner got a few takedowns but Gonzaga was able to land some punches in Scherner's guard - Scherner looked tired - Gonzaga capitalized on his speed landing some good punches that caused a mouse under Scherner's right eye. Rd 2 - before round two started, Doctor checked Scherner's eye - Scherner says he can fight - round starts, Scherner comes back strong - both exchange blows - Gonzaga landed a right that put Scherner on a knee - Gonzaga comes in to finish Scherner off and the ref steps in to stop the bout.
