Jeremy Horn vs. Trevor Prangley – Middleweight Bout

Jeremy Horn, (85-14-5) 6’2”/185 lbs., fighting out of Salt Lake City, Utah, is one of the most experienced

fighters ever to compete in mixed martial arts. With over one hundred fights to his credit, Horn has fought

around the world taking on the best fighters in the middleweight, light heavyweight, and even heavyweight

divisions. He will face Trevor Prangley (11-2-0) 6’1”/185 lbs., fighting out Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, a powerhouse

wrestler known for his punishing slams who has won fights by submission and knockout. He will face one of

the most respected names in mixed martial arts in hopes of propelling himself into the UFC middleweight

title picture.

Sam Hoger vs. Jeff Newton – Light Heavyweight Bout

“The Alaskan Assassin” Sam Hoger (5-1) 6'3"/205 lbs., fighting out of Davenport, Iowa, trains with the

legendary Pat Miletich team. While he considers his strength to be his ground fighting, Sam has shown

good long range stand up skills. At The Ultimate Fighter™ Season 1 finale Sam defeated Bobby

Southworth by unanimous decision. He will square off with Jeff “The Karate Kid” Newton (4-1) 6’2”/205 lbs.,

fighting out of Costa Mesa, Calif., an exciting fighter who loves to strike. Newton has an extensive sport

karate background and even though he is well versed in all aspects of MMA, his karate background is

evident in his fights. Newton hopes to showcase his flashy striking style in his UFC debut and defeat Sam

Hoger in the process.

Nick Thompson vs. Keith Wisniewski – Welterweight Bout

Nick “The Goat” Thompson (22-8) 6'1"/170 lbs., fighting out of Minneapolis, Minn., is known for his effective

striking and good takedowns. A USKBA Super-Light Heavy Weight Champion, he has wins over UFC

veterans Josh Neer and Brian Gassaway. Thompson will take on “The Polish Connection” Keith

Wisniewski (19-5-0) 5'11”/170 lbs. and fighting out of Portage, Ind. Wisniewski is a well-rounded mixed

martial artist who is particularly adept at finishing fights with chokes. His game plan is control where the fight

happens and at what pace. With 24 professional fights to his credit, Wisniewski feels the time is ripe for his

UFC debut.

Gabriel Gonzaga vs. Kevin Jordan – Heavyweight Bout

Gabriel “Napao” Gonzaga (4-1) 6’2”/242 lbs., fighting out of Ludlow, Mass., a champion Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Black Belt. Gonzaga favors submissions, but he has trained hard in Muay Thai and boxing and is prepared

to strike to help set up his takedowns. Gonzaga will fight Kevin “The Shaman” Jordan (7-3) 6’4”/238 lbs.,

fighting out of Columbus, Georgia. Jordan, a grappler who is not afraid to strike, showed a willingness to

throw down in his UFC debut against Paul Buentello. With his UFC debut jitters behind him, Jordon is now

looking to score his first UFC victory against Gonzaga.

Thialgo Alves vs. Ansar Chalango – Welterweight Bout
Ansar “Warrior” Chalangov (7-0) 5’11”/170 lbs., fighting out of Rostov-Na-Donu, Russia, is a powerful grappler

and holder of multiple Russian MMA titles. Chalangov has an undefeated mixed martial arts record and now

looks to make his mark in the UFC. Thialgo “Pitbull” Alves (13-3) 5'9"/170 lbs., fighting out of Coconut Creek,

Fla., is a Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu stylist who trains with the American Top Team. He loves to strike

and likes to wear out his opponents with relentless pressure, and is particularly dangerous with knees and

leg kicks. Alves lost in an exciting fight to Spencer Fisher in his UFC debut, but is confident he will have the

winning formula against Chalango.
