UFC 56: Full Force Results

The UFC announced that Tito Ortiz and Ken Shamrock will be the coaches on season 3 of the Ultimate Fighter - They will also face each other in the season finale. The UFC also announced that BJ Penn will be back in the UFC (sometime in 2006) as well as Frank Mir.
Fight 1 - Welterweight Bout Nick Thompson wins a three round unanimous decision over Keith Wisniewski
Fight 2 - Welterweight Bout Thiago Alves wins by TKO at 2:25 of the first round over Ansar Chalangov
Fight 3 - Light Heavyweight Bout Sam Hoger wins by submission (rear naked choke) at 2:05 of the second round over Jeff Newton
Fight 4 - Middleweight Bout Jeremy Horn wins a three round unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) over Trevor Prangley
Fight 5 - Welterweight Bout Georges St. Pierre wins by TKO (strikes) at 2:53 of the second round over Sean Sherk
Fight 6 - Welterweight Bout Matt Hughes wins by submission (kimura) at 3:28 of the first round over Joe Riggs (non-title bout - Riggs failed to make weight)
Fight 7 - Heavyweight Bout Gabriel Gonzaga wins by TKO (strikes) at 4:39 of the third round over Kevin Jordan
Fight 8 - Middleweight Title Bout Rich Franklin wins by knockout at 2:34 of the first round over Nate Quarry - Franklin retains title
