UFC 54: Boiling Point Fighter Update \ Results
August 20, 2005 MGM Grand Las Vegas, Nevada
Zuffa, LLC announced today that all fighters in UFC 54: Boiling Point were checked by medical doctors from the Nevada State Athletic Commission, and some fighters received tests and attention at a local Las Vegas hospital. No fighter was kept overnight for observation at the hospital, and every fighter was back at the MGM Grand hotel before 2:00am (PT) on Sunday morning. Zuffa, LLC wishes to thank the NSAC and its medical professionals for the treatment and prompt attention given to UFC fighters at UFC 54.

Fight 2 - Light Heavyweight Bout James Irvin wins by knockout at :09 of the second round over Terry Martin
