Total Fighting Alliance On the Move! Change of Date and Venue Redondo Beach, CA November 8, 2009- An injury to TFA Champion Jeff Martin, whose title fight with Raja Shippen was scheduled to go off on November 14th, has caused the reschedule of TFA 17 to Saturday, December 12, with Krav Maga's Marcus Kowal against Chris Wolf for the main event.
Insider ticket sales to fighters and mixed martial arts organizations led to a quick sell out of TFA 17 at the 1500 seat Alpine Village Beer Garden, leaving many hundreds of loyal TFA fans with virtually no chance to see this great card in person. Although the official announcement of a change of venue is being withheld pending the signing of contracts and issue of a permit, we can confirm email speculation that the presence of TFA vehicles and officials at The Hollywood Park Casino last Friday has to do with a change of venue in order to accommodate a larger crowd.
