Ricardo Almeida For UFC 111

New York, NY (March 16, 2010) – Charles Jebara, President of Tokyo Five Brand announced today that the

company will sponsor Ricardo Almeida for his upcoming fight at UFC 111: St. Pierre vs. Hardy in Newark,

NJ.

Almeida (11-3 MMA, 4-3 UFC), 33, will be testing his Jiu-Jitsu skills against the always dangerous Matt “The

Immortal” Brown.

"I always like fighting aggressive guys," Almeida said. “I think it makes it a little bit easier than fighting

someone who's going to play a very tactical approach."

Tokyo Five has been working with Ricardo since he defeated Kendall Grove via unanimous decision at UFC

101.

“Ricardo is a great fighter and a true veteran of the sport. I’ve been a fan of his since his Pride days,” said

Jebara. “With his next fight being televised on Spike he’s going to gain a lot of new fans.”
