Legal Techniques

- Any kind of choke (except for using the hand to close the wind pipe) with or without the use of the uniform

- Any armbar, shoulder lock or wristlock

- Any leglock or ankle lock

 

Illegal Techniques

- Full nelson or crucifix

- Striking or kicking of any kind

- Eye-gouging or fish-hooking

- Ear-grabbing

- Hair-pulling

- Biting

- Finger- or toe-holds

- Thumbing

- Scratching and pinching

- Groin attacks

- Hands, knees or elbows on face

 

No slippery substances are allowed on body or clothing!

 

Points

2 - Mount position

2 - Knee on stomach

2 - Sweeps (ends guard or half guard)

2 - Takedown (ends guard or half guard)

3 - Back mount with hooks

3 - Passing the guard

4 - Clean sweep (ends passed the guard)

4 - Clean takedown (ends passed the guard)

 

Lost points

-1 - Go to your back

-1 - Running away

 

Ways to win

1. Submission by physical or verbal tap out

2. Technical knockout by the referee stopping the contest

3. Decision via scorecards (points)

4. Technical decision or draw

5. Disqualification

6. Forfeit or no contest

 

If a fighter breaks the rules twice, the referee will disqualify him.

The referee’s decision can’t be overruled!

 

Fight Duration

6 minutes in ordinary fights (first 3 minutes without points)

8 minutes in the finales (first 4 minutes without points)

One extra round will be added, if the fight is even.

- Men

  -67kg     -79kg     -91kg     +100kg

 

 - Women

   -60kg

  +60kg

 

The winners in each weight class get a place at the ADCC European Trials in January 2007!

The European Trials divisions are only open to European residents. Please bring your passport as proof of

your residency.

Equipment

Fighter may wear tights, shorts, T-shirt, rash guards or GI

 

Matt

7 x 7 metres tatame

 

Mat escape:

Last position before the fighter(s) crossed the mat line or the referee stops the match.

 

Prizes

The best three fighters in each weight class get a medal.

The team with most points gets the “Best Team Cup.”

Points: 1st place 5 points; 2nd place 3 points; 3rd place 1 point.
