Sportfight X: Mayhem Brings One of the Biggest Fights of 2005 Sportsbook.com Presents A Matt Lindland and Randy Couture Production in the Ultimate Evolution of One on One Combat
Matt Lindland. Matt "The Law" Lindland heads up the Sporfight events with his partner Randy "The Natural" Couture, both UFC stars and world renowned fighters.
Sportfight X: Mayhem features a full card with an all-star line up at the Sportfight Dome this May 28th.
The night's highly anticipated match-up between Chris Wilson and Brandon Melendez will deliver. Wilson is on a winning streak with two recent championships, and has been waiting his turn for a shot at this title. Melendez recently championed the XFC: Dome Of Destruction 1 and sported a knock out at the IFC: Eve Of Destruction.
Also on the card, Cam Ward returns from his win at Sportfight VIII: Justice, against John Gunderson, who won his match at Sportfight IX: Respect.
"Every show is getting bigger and better. The last event we sold out every seat in the house, " Lindland says. Over the past year, Sportfight has become a household name in mixed martial arts and professional sporting.
Lindland and Couture have successfully launched Sportfight as well as kept busy with their fighting careers. Lindland has made appearances around the world competing and syndicated on HBO, including the highly talked about main event at Sportfight VIII: Justice. He has also been training at his Team Quest personal gym in Gresham, Oregon. He is a top-ranked middleweight in the UFC and won the 2000 Olympics silver medal in wrestling. Couture has also been training at Team Quest, as well as on his reality TV show aired on Spike TV. He has competed internationally, talked about in Sports Illustrated, and featured on Last Call With Carson Daily as well as Fox And Friends. He is a three-time UFC and national wrestling champion.
Around the corner for Sportfight, Lindland shares, "Sportfight is currently in negotiations with larger venues."
