What: Sportfight XVIII Turning Point returns for more epic battles, hard hits and non-stop action at the Rose Garden on Saturday, January 6 at 7:30p. Sportfight is now larger than life from live events to a recently released DVD. This Sportfight brings fighters from Oregon, Washington and Idaho as well as conditioned fighters from all over the country.
As of December 6, Sportfight will appear in retail stores in the Portland metro area when the brand-new DVD is released. The DVD will give Sportfight fans a glimpse into what they will see live at the Rose Garden including some of the best fights to date and a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to be a mixed-martial art fighter.
Many local fighters that participate in Sportfight work on their MMA moves at Team Quest. Team Quest has also recently trained several members of the International Fight League's Portland Wolfpack led by Portland's own Olympic silver medalist and Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) star, Matt "The Law" Lindland.
