get up or the fight would be over and Serra stayed on the floor and the
ref
stopped the fight.

at the end of he second round over Kaitlin Young

the second round ended due to a swollen left eye of Young.
Fight 10 - Middleweight Title
Bout (5 Rds)
Robbie Lawler vs.
Scott Smith ends in a no-contest at 3:26 of the third round.
In the third round, Smith was
poked in the eye accidentally when Lawler tried to block a punch with an
open hand and his fingers hit
the right eye of Smith - the fight was stopped so the doctor could exam
Smith
and the doc deemed Smith could
not continue (Smith said twice he could not see but stated in the post
fight
interview that he couldn't see
at that moment and wanted his full five minutes to recuperate). Rules
state that
a title fight has to go three
full rounds to go to the score cards and since it didn't go the full three
rounds, it
was declared a no-contest.
Lawler retains title.
Fight 11 - Heavyweight Bout
Kevin “Kimbo Slice”
Ferguson wins by TKO at :38 of the third round over James Thompson
At the start of the third
round, Kimbo landed a right that popped Thompson's cauliflower ear open
(started
bleeding) - Kimbo followed up
and connected with a few punches and Thompson looked a bit stunned - and
while Thompson was moving back
after being punched, the ref decided to stop the bout to Thompson's (and
the crowds) dismay.
