Joel Casamayor (34-3-1, 21 KOs) wins a split decision over Diego Corrales (40-4, 33 KOs) - Judges

scored the bout 116-111 Casamayor, 114-113 Corrales, 115-112 Casamayor. Casamayor wins vacant title -

Corrales was stripped of the WBC lightweight title when he failed to make weight for this fight on Friday.
