Glen Johnson (51-14-2, 35 KOs) wins by knockout at :36 of the 8th rd over Allan Green (29-3, 20 KOs)

In the eighth round, Green got tagged with a right on the side of his head that stunned him - Johnson

continued with a short left that missed and followed up with another right that put Green down - Green tried

to get up at the count of nine but the ref reached the count of 10 before Green could fully stand. Green

started to complain that he was alright but it was too late. Johnson advances to semi-finals of the Super Six

Tournament.

WBO Featherweight Title Bout (12 Rds)

Juan Manuel Lopez (30-0, 27 KOs) wins by TKO, end of the 8th rd over Rafael Marquez (39-6, 35 KOs)

In the fourth round, Lopez penalized a point for hitting behind the head. After the eighth round ended,

Marquez could not continue due to a right shoulder injury - Marquez said in the post fight interview that he

came in with the shoulder injury but did not want to postpone the fight. Lopez retains title.
