Paul Williams (34-1, 25 KOs) wins by TKO at 2:15 of the first round over Carlos Quintana (25-2, 19 KOs) -

In the first round, Quintana stunned with a left, Williams followed up with a flurry of punches...finally sending

Quintana to the canvas with an overhand left - Quintana struggled to get up at the count of four and did...he

took the eight count and the fight resumed. Williams then landed another left that stunned Quintana and sent

him moving back - Williams followed up with a flurry of punches, hurting Quintana with another left - and as

Quintana fell forward, Williams hit him again with a short left and the ref jumped in to stop the bout - but as

Quintana fell forward, he got a single leg and took Williams down as well but the fight was over. Williams

regains title from Quintana.

WBC Super Welterweight Title Bout (12 Rds)

Sergio Mora (21-0-1, 5 KOs) wins a majority decision over Vernon Forrest (40-3-0-1NC, 29 KOs) - Judges

scored the bout 114-114, 115-113, 116-112 for Mora. Mora wins title from Forrest.
