Shin Do Kumaté VII

Due to some last minute injuries, Shin Do Kumaté VII has been rescheduled to June 11th (from March 19th)
Previously announced: TAMPA, Fla. – “Persian Warrior”, Master Mehrdad Khan Moayedi of St. Petersburg, FL, an 8th Dan Martial Arts Master, will be featured on Saturday, June 11, 2005 for a showdown for the heavyweight main event of Shin Do Kumaté VII, The Quest for the Greatest Martial Arts Warrior. Master Mehrdad is known for his deadly shin kicks and unusual heavyweight speed. Who will be left standing in the end? We’ll find out on March 19th.
The professional, full-contact martial arts fighting event will be televised from USF Marshall Center in Tampa, Fla. during primetime on Sunshine Network and local cable network, Bright House channel 47. Ten bouts are scheduled featuring professional male and female fighters, including Shin Do Kumaté Lightweight Champion Stefan Butin Bik, Remy Bonnel, and Crafton Wallace.
Shin Do Kumaté, "The Way of the Fighting Spirit", is a new international competition founded and organized by Master Mehrdad Khan Moayedi. This competition joins true martial artists from such disciplines as Kung-Fu, Karate, Tae Kwon Do, Muay Thai (Thai Boxing), Kickboxing and other styles against one another in single elimination bouts. The rules are simple and the competition is fierce with four three-minute rounds. Men’s divisions include Lightweight, Super Lightweight, Middleweight and Heavyweight, and the women's divisions consist of Welterweight, Lightweight and Middleweight.
