Tampa, FL - - The producers of Shin Do Kumaté, the leading promotion of professional stand-up striking

fights, announces a joint venture with Fighting For Children, Inc. to help foster children get adopted. 

Shin Do Kumaté was founded in 2002 by Master Mehrdad K. Moayedi to build a professional fighting

organization that upholds the integrity of Martial Arts with the display of extraordinary skills.  As executive

producer of the Shin Do Kumaté televised programs, Master Mehrdad has built a powerful brand of media

rich content that is currently distributed to multiple television networks worldwide.  His passion in life has

always revolved around traditional Martial Arts and his desire to help children. The collaboration of the two is

fulfilling in all aspects.

Fighting For Children, Inc. is a nonprofit organization established to build awareness to the general public of

foster children in need of adoption.  Video portrayals of these children will be integrated into the televised

programs of Shin Do Kumaté with professional fighters fighting for children with personal endorsements.  A

portion of all proceeds generated by Shin Do Kumaté events will benefit Fighting For Children, Inc.

The foundation of Shin Do Kumaté represents respect, humility, and honor, which is a true representation of

Martial Arts.  In the midst of cage fighting events landing a mainstream audience in North America, these

elements have vanished and unfortunately the cage fights have tagged themselves to the Martial Arts name. 

However, Master Mehrdad seeks to rebuild the integrity of the sport by presenting explosive fight skills in a

boxing ring and on television featuring high ranking male and female fighters.  The compelling documentaries

tied to the events and coupled with his mission to help children makes this a rewarding endeavor for

everyone involved.

Shin Do Kumaté will be held at the Bob Martinez Sports Complex at the University of Tampa with an

expected audience of 4,000.  Doors open at 5:30pm with undercard bouts beginning at 6pm.  The

professional Shin Do Kumaté fighters will begin their bouts at 8pm.  Tickets are available online at
