The winner of this S1 Tournament -72 .5 kg qualified to Thailand in the Kings Cup (Birthday of the king of

Thailand) probably the most important Muay Thai Event of the world.

MMA Fight: Orlando Wiet vs. Mario Stapel (S1 European Championship Gießen Hessenhalle)

First, the Frenchman Jimmy Sidoni had to call his MMA fight off on the S-1 Fight Night card due to injury -

Then organizer Hasan Cataltas succeeded in securing a top notch fighter to replace Sidoni - None other than

former UFC and K-1 superstar Orlando Wiet. Wiet, who is stepping in for his injured pupil, has promised to

participate in the event. The news has also made opponent Mario Stapel happy as Wiet has been a role

model for him. Thus, it will be the old master against the youngster.

Stapel, who's won his last two fights at King of the Cage, expects a tough fight from Wiet. Wiet will no doubt

come prepared for the fight - and although nearly 40 years of age, he brings experience and points to fighters

like former UFC light heavyweight champion Randy Couture who have had outstanding success at this age.

Thus the S-1 Fight Night adds another megastar. Already in the tournament, Paulo Balicha (Switzerland)

and Mark Vogel (Masters Gym Duisburg), two absolute Top Stars to name just a few.

So don't forget, the S-1 European Championship 8-Man Tournament winner will receive entry into the Kings

Birthday Cup plus the huge MMA bout between Orlando Wiet against Mario Stapel and much more will
