Alvin KID Robinson Returns To UFC
ROF Champion and UFC Lightweight Alvin KID Robinson returns to PPV tonight. The Denver based fighter had the following comments about his matchup with TUF 4 cast member Jorge Gurgel:
"It's an honor to be back in the UFC. My training for this fight went good. I'm prepared for a 3 round war. I know Jorge is prepared too and we are going to go at it. Neither of us is going to back down, it's going to be a great fight. I expect it to be fight of the night!"
MMA Weekly's Recardo Menoza is picking Robinson as the favorite in the match:
"Both guys are tremendous ground fighters with Gurgel being a more technical fighter and Robinson being more explosive. Gurgel needs to control the fight on the feet, while Robinson will want it on the ground where he can work his magic. Expect Gurgel to control the fight while on the feet, but Robinson will take it to the ground and outwork him with his explosive ground skills now that he has gotten past the Octagon jitters. Prediction: Alvin Robinson by decision "
