Ringside MMA Payback - Weigh ins info and Stephane Dubé Back in the Octagon

Montreal – Ringside MMA is pleased to announce that the weigh-ins for Ringside 9 – Payback will be held on Friday, November 12th, at 1pm in La Cage aux Sports at the Bell Center. All fans, as well as media, are welcome to meet with the fighters as they face their opponents for the 1st time before doing battle in the Octagon. The main event welterweight title match between Jonathan Goulet and Chris Clements already promises to be a barn burner. While Goulet expects to see his opponent at his best, he believes he may have already found a weakness, “Clements may be a hard hitter, but he tends to throw looping punches. His boxing is not at the same level as Marcus Davis, whom I fought in the UFC. However, I am expecting him to be ready to have a war in there. He is known for being a true warrior. One thing is certain, we will deliver one hell of a fight!” Coincidently, Alex Garcia and Tyler Jackson will have to contain themselves until fight night as well, since the winner is most likely next in line to challenge the winner of the main event for the welterweight title.
Fans of Stephane « Sensei » Dube, former Karate champion turn professional MMA fighter whose last fight was in June, 2008, will be happy to find out that he will be back in the Octagon. Stephane Dube, who is a member of the Karate Hall of Fame, began practicing martial arts in 1978 and has been teaching since 1989. He made his career in MMA between 2003 and 2008 where he built a record of seven wins against three losses. Stephane Dube will bring his vast knowledge in his return for his new role as interviewer for Ringside MMA. Already considered an ambassador for the sport of MMA, Stephane Dube will be able to use his extensive experience as he will be called on to interview fighters immediately after their fights.
Ringside MMA would like to remind fans to turn on TVA on Friday, October 29, 2010 around 8am where two guests from Ringside MMA will be a surprise appearance. Jonathan Goulet, as well as Jonathan Chaimberg, have taped a segment for a report which will air at 8:20am Friday morning on the morning show, Salut, Bonjour! which is available on the TVA network.

Visitors from outside of the city are encouraged to choose newly renovated, modern, affordable non-smoking accommodations, while sharing the same hotel as their favorite Ringside fighters.
