UFC 65 Party Open to the Public!!

Tonight, all sports fans are invited to UFC 65: BAD INTENTIONS party at CHAMPPS Aspen Grove hosted

by RING OF FIRE.

Two UFC championship fights, one amazing night! The main event is a rematch fans have been demanding.

UFC Welterweight Champion, Matt Hughes, defends his belt against top contender, Georges "Rush" St.

Pierre. UFC Heavyweight Champion, Tim Sylvia, defends his title against Jeff Monson.

World Welterweight Champion, Matt Hughes, is perhaps the greatest welterweight fighter of all time. He has

defended his title successfully 8 times against a "who's who" list of challengers, including BJ Penn, Frank

Trigg, Hayato Sakurai, Carlos Newton, and his UFC 65 opponent, Georges St. Pierre. Hughes defeated

BJ Penn at UFC 63 after St. Pierre was forced to pull out of their scheduled contest due to injury. Hughes

plans to prove he is the best pound-four- pound figher in the world by defeating St. Pierre again at UFC 65.

Canadian Champion, Georges "Rush" St. Pierre has been fighting for a rematch with Matt Hughes for nearly

two years. He has dismantled everyone in his path, including Frank Trigg, Sean Sherk, and BJ Penn.

Despite having to withdraw from their previously scheduled fight in September, St. Pierre is 100 percent

ready and feels it is his time to shine as the new Welterweight Champion of the World. Many believe St.

Pierre is the future of the welterweight division. But, St. Pierre wants to show the world the future is now.

The RING OF FIRE UFC 65 Party will again be at it's new location. For the past three years all the ROF-UFC

ppv events have been held at Red & Jerrys. ROF was informed recently that Red & Jerrys will now expect

MMA fans to pay a cover charge. ROF did not want it's fans and sponsors to have to pay a fee, so they

decided to move the party to CHAMPPS SPORTS BAR located just south on Santa Fe. The UFC 65 event

will be shown free of charge to all ROF/MMA fans.
