ROF 29 Fighter Focus: Dennis Davis

Dennis "The Piranha" Davis is one of the nation's top an up and coming lightweights. He holds several titles and plans on continuing his dominance in the lightweight division. His accolades include a FCFF lightweight Champion, CFC lightweight Champion, and 4-time Sportfight Lightweight Champion. Davis has a dangerous ground game and was originally trained by the world renowned Team Quest. He now trains with the legendary Randy THE NATURAL Couture in Las Vegas. Davis will be facing Luke LIL HULK Caudillo at ROF 29.
What do you know about your opponent for ROF 29? Just that he comes out hard and is a game fighter.
How long have you been training for this fight? About 6 weeks
What game plan do you have? I plan to come out swinging and put it to him
What made you decide to start fighting? I saw UFC 2 and watched Pat Smith elbow this guy's face and was like "I really want to hurt someone like that!"
Who has been your toughest or most memorable fight? I would have to say Clay Guida.
What are your goals in the sport? For the fans to say win or lose I want to see that guy fight because he brings it.
Who is your favorite fighter of all time? Randy Couture. He has shown me a lot in my career.
If you could fight any one, who would it be and why? I would want to fight any top 10 fighter to say that I fought the best.
What is a typical training day for you? Well it depends on the day, but I train about 4 to 6 hours a day 6 days a week with all the guys at Randy's (Couture) new gym in Las Vegas.
What are your hobbies? I don't have too many. Fighting takes most of my time, but I do like to travel and see new things.
What is your favorite food? Sushi
What is in your CD/MP3 player right now? Too many songs to list. LOL
What is the last movie you saw? I can't remember.
What is one thing that would surprise ROF fans to learn about you? I tapped out Matt Lindland 2 out of 3 times in a submission match, but that was a long time ago
What is your favorite quote or motto? "Attack life! It is going to kill you anyway. "
Who wins in this fantasy MMA match: Royler Gracie vs. Bruce Lee? That's hard to say.. Bruce was great in his time. It's a toss up
Thin Crust, Thick or Pan? Thick
Beer, Whiskey, Wine, Vodka or bottled water? Vodka, but only 6 weeks before a fight or right after.
If there was a movie made about you, what actor should play your part? Mark Wahlberg
What do you want it to say on your headstone? Here Lies Dennis Davis: He broke faces and hearts. LOL
