"Defiant" Calnin named Fighter of the Night
May 14, 2005 Pinal County - Parks, Recreation & Fairgrounds 11 MC Road Casa Grande, Arizona
Developer Bob Calnin dominated round 1 with solid ground and pound and then submitted his opponent by rear naked choke in round 2 to earn Fighter of the Night (FOTN) honors. In the Main event, locals Richie Gould and Herb Garcia had the crowd on their feet with some brutal back and forth action. After losing round 1, veteran Garcia pulled off a huge slam then worked hard on a nasty key lock before winning by choke late in round 2.

Joseph Howard, Richie Hightower, Eric Gross and Herb

Fight 3 Johnny Saenz wins by submission (choke) at 2:02 of the second round over Tom Schwager
Fight 4 Bob Calnin wins by submission (choke) at 1:33 of the second round over Tony Garza
Fight 5 Adam Roland wins by submission (strikes) at :46 of the first round over William Cain
Fight 6 Joseph Howard wins a unanimous decision (3-0) over Royce Bruno
Fight 7 Richie Hightower wins by submission (choke) at 2:43 of the first round over Derek Cain
Fight 8 - Super Fight Eric Gross wins by submission (strikes) at :55 of the second round over Armando Lucio
