Later that same night, the winner from each of those matches will then go on to face each other in an explosive battle and only one will walk away as the 2005 PRIDE Middleweight Tournament Champion. This event also features a championship bout between PRIDE heavyweight champion, Fedor Emelianenko against Croatian challenger, Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic.
