According to Sportsnavi, PRIDE announced that a match between heavyweight champion Fedor

Emelianenko and Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic is looking like it might take place in June. PRIDE said that it

would be difficult to have these two face off in February and although the odds are high that the fight may

take place in April, due to the fact that it will also be the start of the middleweight Grand Prix, it would

probably be unreasonable.

Sportsnavi also reported that Kazushi Sakuraba has a positive outlook that he'll be able to participate in the

middleweight Grand Prix starting in April.
