DSE announced that a pair of Olympic Judo medalist will compete against each other on their New Years

Eve event - Shockwave. 1992 Olympic Judo heavyweight (+100 kg) Silver medalist Naoya Ogawa will take

on 1992 Olympic Judo half-middleweight (-81kg) Gold medalist Hidehiko Yoshida. Yoshida is coming off a

submission win over Tank Abbott this past August at PRIDE Final Conflict while Ogawa, who participates in

DSE's pro-wrestling show "Hustle," hasn't been in PRIDE since his quick defeat at the hands of PRIDE

heavyweight champion Fedor Emelianenko in August of 2004. Previously announced,  Shockwave will also

see the conclusion to the lightweight and welterweight Grand Prix tournaments (which started this past

September at PRIDE Bushido 9).
