Pangea Fights "The Beginning"

Pangea Fight Enterprises Presents: “The Beginning.” Live Mixed Martial Arts action arrives at the Hollywood Palladium on Friday, May 12th 2006. This incredible fight card features 22 MMA fighters that are ready to step into the cage and do battle in front of what is anticipated to be a sold out arena.
In the main event, 4X UFC veteran Dennis “Superman” Hallman takes on K-1 and King of the Cage veteran Brian “Mr. Unbreakable” Warren in what is sure to be a classic battle of grappler vs. striker. Dennis Hallman is best known for his 2 submission wins over current UFC Welterweight Champion Matt Hughes. Brain Warren has gone toe to toe with some of the biggest names in MMA and K-1. With four big wins in a row, Brain Warren is looking to keep the streak alive against one of the best in the Welterweight division.
Also fighting on the main event card is Hollywood’s very own Jason “Hollywood” Chambers (13-4). Chambers is a submission wizard fighting out of 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu. You may recognize him from hit TV shows such as “Sex in the City”, and “All My Children”, but make no mistake there are no smoking mirrors or special effects when he steps into the cage! Chambers is a legitimate contender at 170lbs who has the ability to finish any fighter from both standing or on the ground.
Rounding out the main event card is former WEC Champion Gabe Ruedigar (9-2) - Ruedigar is looking to get back on top of the Middleweight division after a disappointing loss to Hermes Franca. Before this loss, Ruedigar was on an eight-fight win streak and well on his way to establishing himself as one of the best at 170lbs.
Finally, making their long anticipated MMA debut’s on the under card are Steve Magdelano (Raw), and 2006 NAGA Champion Conor “Heartbreaker” Heun. These two along with several other young fighters are sure to be tomorrow’s brightest young stars!
