Songchai Dedicates His Whole Life For New Boxing Stadium

OneSongchai Institute of Muaythai, broadcasting worldwide

and launching with Mitsubishi Muaythai tournament

The most popular boxing promoter - "The Great Song" Mr. Songchai Ratanasuban dedicates his whole

life for the creation of his new boxing stadium, Bangkok Boxing Stadium and OneSongchai Institute of

Muaythai in the central Bangkok.  His heirs were asked to administer them and he aims for conserving

and propagating Muaythai by broadcasting to the world. There are Muaythai competitions every weekend

(Sat and Sun) that are broadcasted by two national TV channels.  The Bangkok Boxing stadium will launch

with Mitsubishi Muaythai tournament that is full of hi-end popular Muaythai fighters such as Thongchai

T.Silachai, Chatchainoi Sitbenjama, Dejnarong Sitajaboon, etc.  At the same time, this stadium will

be used for world boxing championship and women's boxing as well as Muaythai.

The Bangkok Boxing Stadium and Onesongchai Institute of Muaythai, capitalized with millions baht (located

on Tiamruammitr Rd. opposite Thailand National Cutural Center) was opened as the new alternative for

both Thai and overseas boxing fans.  The grand opening is on October 7, 2006.  The most popular boxing

promoter "The Great Song" Mr. Songchai Ratanasuban says that toward the end of his life, he wants to do

some things to be a good memorial for the people in the boxing community.  And he is the head promoter of

Onesongchai for more than 30 years.  He has much expectation with the new boxing stadium and

OneSongchai Institute of Muaythai by his heirs; Mr. Siraphop and Miss Pariyakorn Ratanasuban for

handling the venues.  And his aim for the creation of his own stadium and academy are conserving and

improving Muaythai to a higher level - and there is worldwide broadcasting for Muaythai, world boxing

championship and women's boxing.  The venue has regular muaythai matches - both every Saturday

broadcasting by Channel 11 and every Sunday by UBC Channel.  The first tournament is on October 7 -

Mitsubishi Triton Muaythai Tournament, for this event the joining participants are all famous boxers that have

high experience fights in big event of Onesongchai such as Thongchai T.Silachai, Chatchainoi

Sitbenjama, Dejnarong Sitjaboon, Roongrat Naratrikul, Pornsanae Sitmonchai, Phayasaue

S.Hengcharoen, Sornnarai Tawan, Rittijak Kaewsamrit, Petchmanee Petchsuphaphan, Pandin

S.Damrongrith.  The press conference is on September 14, 2006 at 10.30 in Petchchompoo Room, 3rd

The Bangkok Boxing Stadium will be the center of Muaythai, world boxing championship and women's

boxing with continuous competitions - the audiences can see the fights and learn more about all kinds of

boxing of both Muaythai and Western boxing - The venue will also serve as a museum.

"This is my masterpiece that I dedicate all my life for boxing cycle, both new stadium and OneSongchai

Institue of Muaythai,  I assign Siraphop and Pariyakorn to administer them.  We need to improve Muaythai

to a higher class.  We have regular events on both Saturday and Sunday and the events are broadcasted on

national TV and we focus to broadcast to worldwide.  They are new full-cycles choices of Thai and overseas

boxing fans have ever had.  Our grand opening on October 7, 2006 with Mitusubishi Muaythai Tournament.
