Bangkok Boxing Stadium Opening

 

 

Saturday, the 28th of October promises to be a big night for Muay Thai with the grand opening of the

Bangkok Boxing Stadium, the latest endeavor of Thailand’s No.1 promoter Mr. Songchai Ratanasuban.

 

Besides the first round of the 11th Mitsubishi Tournament, the opening shall feature four of OneSongchai

promotions best fighters.

 

Beginning at 2:30 pm, Suttpathapee Dejcharat takes on Pakorn Sakyothin followed by Samsan Por

Jong Charoen vs. Tabnaa Sithromsai.

 

The first round of the Mitsubishi Tournament features Thongchai Tor Silachai against Phayasua Garden

Seaview. A professional boxer for 20 years, Thongchai is one of the sports most respected figures having

held titles in four weight divisions at Lumpinee and Ratchadamneon.

 

Also on the card are two bouts with Thais taking on foreign opponents. Every week OneSongchai

promotions will feature boxers from around the world.

 

The event shall be televised live on Thai channel 11 at 2:30-4:30 pm.

 

The stadium is located across of Thai Cultural Centre beside South Korea Embassy and Siam Niramit,

approx 1.2 km from Thailand Cultural Centre subway station.
