Boxing Result: Fenech vs. Nelson - Muay Thai: Noelani "Haole-Girl" Brown

  Former IBF Bantamweight, WBC Super Bantamweight, Featherweight & Super Featherweight World

  Champion Jeff Fenech (29-3-1, 21 KOs) stepped back into the ring at age 44 earlier today at the

  Vodafrone Arena in Melbourne, Australia to compete against his one time rival - 49 year old Aumah

  Nelson (39-6-2, 28 KOs). The pair had fought twice before - in 1991 that ended in a draw for Fenech's WBC

  Super Featherweight Title and in 1992 which saw Nelson TKO Fenech in eight to grab the WBC Super

  Featherweight title. This time around, Fenech came out on top winning a majority decision with scores of

  96-94, 96-94 and 95-95. The jr. middleweight bout was the first bout for Fenech since 1996 (TKO loss to

  Philip Holiday) and Nelson's first since 1998 (decision loss to Jesse James Leija).

- Muay Thai: Noelani "Haole-Girl" Brown

  This past Saturday at the Santa Clara Convention Center (Santa Clara, California), Budo-Ryo fighter

  Noelani "Haole-Girl" Brown defeated Malia Spanyol of Fight and Fitness in the "War of Hero's" Muay

  Thai show. Brown won a unanimous decision with scores of 29-27, 29-27, 29-26. The show was sponsored

  by Fairtex and the United States Muay Thai Federation.
