From Around The Cage
As
we walked through the parking lot at the KOTC with Larry Landless (Referee)
and Herb Dean (Referee), we ran into the guys from Tap Out.

From
the left - In front is Xavier, behind him are the guys from TAPOUT ,
Rick Lucero, Larry Landless
and Herb Dean
We took a
few pictures and BS'd for a little while, as we walk back to the event,
Larry tells us that Don "The Dragon" Wilson will start
training with him at his school - Submission Factory . He will
mostly be learning the ground game. In the near future, the Dragon will
not only be a commentator at a NHB event but he will be a competitor as
well. Larry was very excited about teaching an Icon like "The
Dragon" all that he can. We'll keep you informed on his progress.
Good luck guys.
__________

Royce
Gracie with Xavier at KOTC
UFC Champion Royce
Gracie will return to NHB action this August 8, 2002 in the Pride
Fighting Championships in Japan. He will face Yoshida. We had a
chance to talk with him backstage
at King of the
Cage. He was very excited and confident about his upcoming fight. We wish
you the Best of luck Royce.
You might be
wondering what Royce was doing at KOTC. He was there to support Dean
Lister. I had the chance to see him warming up with Lister and let me
tell you they both looked Great. Best of luck to both of you.
__________

From
the left -Al, Larry Landless, Cecil Peoples, Herb the referee, ?
We also ran
into Cecil Peoples, Judge and Referee at many NHB events. We were
discussing ways to promote ourselves and Cecil tells us that All publicity
is good publicity and like Madonna said even Bad publicity is
better than no publicity at all. Thanks for your time Cecil.
And yes, he is
the same Cecil Peoples from professional boxing.
__________

Don
Frye
UFC Champion Don "The
Predator" Frye, 5 weeks into his retirement , doesn't know if he
wants to stay that way or as he puts it, they won't let me retire. He has
an injury he has to get over but that shouldn't be a problem. He also
tells us that he was unable to train his guy (Sam Sotello) as much
as he would of wanted to and that contributed to his loss at KOTC. Not
making any excuses but understanding that he needed to be injury free for
him. We Hope your shoulder heels, get well wishes from T.F.G.tv
Talk to you after the Fights
