NAAFS Back in T-County by Popular Demand

Mongoose vs Compton Headlines Stellar Card

April 21, 2007

 Skate Place

New Philadelphia, Ohio

- Special Thanks go out to Greg Kalikas (NAAFS.tv, PKWlive.com) for the following information:

Cleveland, OH: Back to Tuscarawas County by popular demand, the NAAFS is less then two weeks away

from returning to T-County for round three of the 2007 amateur series AKA “Border Wars.” This event will

take place on Saturday April 21st, 2007 and will be held at the spacious Skate Place centrally located in

New Philadelphia, Ohio.

The co-main event will feature home town favorite and 2006 NAAFS national finalist JohnMongoose

Myers (6-3) in his last fight as an amateur and in his first main event. His opponent will be the undefeated

PaulStr8 OuttaCompton (7-0) who over the past six months has burst on to the NAAFS seen and is

coming off an impressive win over the previously unbeaten Jon Rohn of Michigan. A win over Myers will

likely move Compton to the top of the highly competitive NAAFS lightweight division.

In the nights second main event it will be a battle of undefeated light heavyweights as Team Instigator’s

JohnThe BulletFields (3-0) will look for his fourth straight win when he collides with Wreckroom

Athletics’ JoeThe Giant KillerLewis (2-0). Fields will be making his NAAFS debut and will look to

establish himself as a contender for the 2007 205 lb title. Lewis is no stranger to NAAFS fans and owns a

win over 2006 NAAFS HW champion John Hedges in February and is coming off a first round KO in his last

trip to the cage in March.

2006 NAAFS LHW champion Chuck Ellison (4-1) will look to continue his impressive run and win his fifth

straight fight as he takes on the 7-2 Ricky Ovington from Louisville, Kentucky. Ellison has been as hot as

any fighter in the series and has looked better with each fight. Ovington makes his NAAFS debut with an

accomplished amateur record and will look to shine in what is expected to be an exciting fight.

Highly touted featherweight, CodyThe WolverineStevens 5-1 will make his return to the NAAFS cage

when he clashes with Next Level standout Eric Noel (3-0) in a featured bout while Cleveland’s FrankThe

Tank Carabello (2-2) throws down with Philadelphia, PA’s Josh McBride (3-2) in another anticipated

welterweight showdown.
