Tickets on Sale for NAAFS “Night of Champions”: The NAAFS caps off a memorable 2007 with its year

end national finals as 6 champions will be crowned on December 1st in Warren, Ohio. The prestigious

Packard Music Hall will host this highly anticipated event featuring both professional mixed martial arts along

with the nations best amateurs as they battle for sports most prestigious amateur title. Already confirmed for

December 1st…..#1 Ranked Chuck Ellison (7-1) battles #2 ranked Nick “The Savage” Duell ( 6-2-1) for the

NAAFS 185 lbs title and a rematch of the 2006 national finals. In the 205 lbs division it will be #1 ranked Joe

“The Giant Killer” Lewis (6-0) taking on #2 ranked Dominique Vanest (4-0) in a battle of unbeaten warriors.

Plus Josh “The Sandman” Stansbury, Paul “Str8 Outta” Compton and many more of your favorite NAFS

Pre-registration Underway for Midwest Grappling Open: The Midwest’s premier submission grappling

competition is back and better then ever! The Midwest grappling Open is now accepting pre-registration

applications for all divisions.  Pre-registered competitors will receive a $10 discount on entry fees along with

an official MGO event t-shirt. The MGO will include both Gi and No-Gi divisions for men, women, teens,

executives and position grappling for children eight years old and under along with the ultra competitive

“absolute division” with a cash prize to the top two finishers along with the prestigious MGO champions’ cup.

Midwest Combat Challenge 3 UPDATE: Tickets are now on sale and moving quickly for November 17th’s

Midwest Combat Challenge 3. This NAAFS event will take place at the Chapparells Community Center in

Akron, Ohio and will feature several top ranked NAAFS fighters. In the nights co-main events, undefeated

Dan “The Daredevil” Jones (3-0) takes on Michigan’s Jon “The KobraRohn (4-2) and a heavyweight

showdown between Akron’s own Norm “The Jackhammer” Carriero (4-2) and Matt “The Lumberjack” Lisi (4-

1). Plus the return of DJ Jacobucci (2-2) as he battles New York’s Dustin Bloom (4-4) and nationally ranked

NAAFS TV Series UPDATE: Make sure to tune in to NAAFS “The TV Series” every Saturday Night on

Sports Time Ohio, the television home of the Cleveland Indians and the NAAFS. NAAFS Cage Fighting airs

Saturday nights at 9 PM ET with replays at midnight and throughout the week. You can also catch NAAFS
