History is Made at Caged Fury 4

02/18/06 (Cleveland, OH) - Very few times does the payoff actually live up to the hype, but Caged Fury 4 not

only lived up to the hype, it may have surpassed it. Fans piled into the sold out Gray's Armory in downtown

Cleveland for another amazing night of MMA action.

In the main event of the night, 2006 Fighter of the Year & 2006 NAAFS National Amateur Welterweight

Champion "Smokin" Joe Heiland (10-0) remained undefeated, talking care of David Sluss (5-5) with a TKO

victory in the first round.

In the co-main event, the entire NAAFS Pro Series Lightweight division was turned completely upside down.

In a non-title fight, Nick Sorg (6-4) defeated reigning champion Torrance "The Tyrant" Taylor (6-4) by KO at

just :29 of Round 1. As a result, Sorg not only made a huge statement, but also put himself into the position

as a top contender for the Pro Series Lightweight Title

In Heavyweight action, Justin Black (6-1) defeated Dominic "The Punisher" Qurazzo (4-2) by Guillotine

Choke in Rd 3. This win puts Black back amongst the names in contention for the NAAFS Pro Series

Heavyweight Title.

2007 NAAFS National Amateur Featherweight Champion Cody "The Wolverine" Stevens (10-1) made a

successful pro debut at Caged Fury, defeating Jeremy Ashley by Triangle Choke in the third round in a fight

that many fans called the fight of the night.

In another Pro Series Featherweight bout, Arman Loktev (4-2) made short work of Dustin "The Beast" Neace

(21-11-1) by scoring a 1st Round TKO victory.
