Six Questions with Jason
"Dynamite" Dent
NAAFS.tv recently caught up with Jason "Dynamite" Dent for our exclusive Six Questions Interview series:
1. Can you please let the fans know how the healing process is coming along on your arm? My arm is healing up nice. It should be stronger than it was before. I'm just working hard on getting back any lost muscle I lost with the whole process due to being in the cast for so long.
2. Donny Walker is fighting Mike Nesto this Saturday for the NAAFS Pro Series Featherweight Title at Rock N Rumble. What is it like preparing someone like Donny, who has tons of experience, for a big fight as a opposed to an amateur who is just starting out? It's a lot more fun preparing someone like Donny for a big fight then it is some of our guys who are brand new. I've been friends with Donny since second grade so we go way back that's for sure. Donny is extremely coachable and hard working and I can't wait for his fight with Nesto.
3. Outside of your teammates at GriffonRawl, who is your favorite fighter to watch? Hmmm? I can't say I really have a set favorite, but I will name some of my favorite fighters to watch. My top five guys would have to be Vitor Belfort, BJ Penn, Randy Couture, GSP, and Anderson Silva. My first ever UFC that I got to watch on PPV was UFC 12 "Judgment Day" where Vitor debuted and won a four man tournament.

Straus made an immediate impact on the Lightweight division, defeating "Smokin" Joe Heiland at Night of Champions 2009 and following that up with a win over Frank "The Tank" Caraballo at Caged Fury 9 to capture the gold. The NAAFS is pleased to present Ohio's first ever all female MMA event Eve of Destruction on Saturday September 18th from Chapparell's Center in Akron, OH. This event will feature both professional and amateur fights as the women of the NAAFS take center stage for one of the most historic events to ever take place inside the NAAFS cage.
The main event at Eve of Destruction will be a professional bout in the 125 lbs division that will see Marissa "Shorty" Caldwell (4-1) of Vision MMA take on 2009 National Amateur Women's Champion Jessica "Evil" Eye (6-0) of Strong Style Fight Team. Caldwell enters this battle having won four of her last five fights and her only defeat coming at the hands of former Strikeforce #1 contender Jan Finney.
