BTT’s Andre Mussi Added to Fight Nite in the Flats 3 in Cleveland Updated Fight Card

Cleveland, OH: Ohio’s biggest and most recognized annual MMA experience is just over a month away as the final fight card is nearly complete for NAAFS “Fight Nite in the Flats 3” set for the Plain Dealer Pavilion this June 9th in Cleveland.
Just added and considered by many insiders as the future of the Brazilian Top Team’s heavyweight division, Andre Mussi (10-3) will make the long trek from Rio De Janeiro, Brazil to Cleveland, Ohio next month when he takes on former Gladiators Fighting HW champion Josh “Heavy” Hendricks (17-4) in what will be both fighters biggest test to date.
Mussi is an accomplished grappler with 8 of his 10 MMA wins coming via submission and is eager to prove himself against a high caliber opponent in Hendricks. A chiseled 265 pounds, Mussi will also have the comfort of knowing he trains with one of the worlds premier fight teams in the BTT whose legendary fighters have captured titles in various organizations across the globe.
Hendricks will come in riding a 9 fight winning streak with his most recent win coming over the formerly 13-1 Todd Brown this past March. Hendricks was a two-time All American D-1 wrestler at Oklahoma State University and is among the premier heavyweights yet to sign with the UFC or Pride. Some feel this may be the fight that can get Hendricks over the hump.
The Hendricks/Mussi bout has been added to an already stellar fight card which will include UFC and Pride FC veteran Dan “The Bull” Bobish as he takes on Team Playlands’ Bobby Favors. Light heavyweight powerhouse Jason “Freebird” Freeman (8-1) will collide with UFC veteran Ron Faircloth (20-12) for the NAAFS LHW title while 2006 NAAFS national amateur welterweight champion “Smokin” Joe Heiland (7-0) makes his professional debut against Team Predators Jacob Eaton. Plus the NAAFS return of hometown favorite and two time UFC veteran Jason “Dynamite” Dent as he faces Team Predators Mike Bogner (6-3-1).
