San Manuel Indian Nation, Calif. – July 31, 2008 – Thursday, August 14, San Manuel Indian Bingo and

Casino is proud to bring the excitement of King of the Cage, the finest in mixed martial arts competition,

back to their showroom.  Tickets are available now at Ticketmaster.com and the San Manuel Box Office for

$50, $75, and $110.

 

King of the Cage is all about the punches, kicks, elbows, knees, big knockouts, technical submissions,

take-downs, and strategy.  It’s not like any other sporting event you will ever see.  Fighters are encouraged

to incorporate numerous fighting styles from Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to wrestling, Muay Thai to boxing, in addition

to many more.  Although in order to consistently be victorious, participants must be versatile with all

techniques of the fighting game. 

 

Featured fights will include Victor "Joe Boxer" Valenzuela vs. Joe Camacho. 

 

Another featured fight is a rematch between Anthony Lapsley vs. Aaron “Slam” Wetherspoon.  Lapsley with

a record of 11-3-0 and Wetherspoon with a record of 7-2-0 had their previous match-up at “Opposing Force”

ruled as a No Contest. 

 

In addition, Daniel Hernandez (2-3-0) will meet up against Rick Legere who is undefeated at 4-0-0.  Also a

match between Mike Guymon (7-2-1) vs. James “The Educator” Fanshier (15-8-0) is set to take place.  Plus

many other fights will be featured.  (Fights subject to change).

 

Doors open at 6:30 the night of the fights. A 21-and-older age requirement to enter the Casino is strictly

enforced.
