Takumi Sato wins by TKO (towel) at 1:19 of the third round over Hiraku Hori

 

Fight 3 - K-1 Opening Bout

Mitsugu Noda wins a unanimous decision (30-28, 30-27, 30-28) over Yang Rae Yoo

 

Fight 4 - K-1 Heavyweight Championship Tournament Bout - Bracket A

Keijiro Maeda wins by TKO at 2:02 of the first round over Melvin Manhoef

In the first, a short right hook downed Manhoef....Manhoef got up at the count of seven but was on wobbly

legs and the ref stopped the bout.

 

Fight 5 - K-1 Heavyweight Championship Tournament Bout - Bracket B

Gokhan Saki wins by TKO at 1:58 of the extension round over Tyrone Spong

In the extension round, Spong downed with a right.....Spong got up at the count of four but was on wobbly

legs and the ref stopped the bout. After three rounds, judges had the bout scored 30-30, 30-30, 30-30 a

draw.

 

Fight 6 - K-1 Rules Bout

Semmy Schilt wins a three round unanimous decision (30-26, 30-26, 30-26) over Hesdy Gerges

 

Fight 7 - K-1 Rules Bout

Ewerton Teixeira wins a second extension round split decision over Jerome Le Banner

After three rounds, the judges had it scored 29-29, 30-30, 30-30 a draw. After the first extension round,

judges had the bout scored 10-9 Le Banner, 10-10, 10-10 a majority draw. After the second extension round,

judges had the bout scored 10-9 Teixeira, 9-10 Le Banner, 10-9 Teixeira.

 

Fight 8 - K-1 Rules Bout

Glaube Feitosa wins by TKO (left jab \ towel) at :48 of the second round over Junichi Sawayashiki

 

Fight 9 - K-1 Rules Bout

Peter Aerts wins an extended round unanimous decision (10-9, 10-9, 10-9) over Errol Zimmerman

After three rounds, judges had the bout scored 29-29, 28-28, 29-29 a draw.

 

Fight 10 - K-1 Heavyweight Championship Tournament Final

Keijiro Maeda wins an extension round majority decision (10-9, 10-10, 10-9) over Gokhan Saki

Maeda wins K-1 Heavyweight title. After three rounds, judges had the bout scored 30-30, 30-30, 30-30 a

draw.

 

Fight 11 - K-1 Rules Bout

Remy Bonjasky wins a unanimous decision (30-28, 30-28, 30-28) over Alistair Overeem
