With less than a minute left in the first round, Overeem landed a left body kick that caused Saki to double

over for a bit and turn his back - the ref jumped in and gave a standing eight count - as he reached the count

of eight, he asked Saki if he was ready to continue and Saki shook his head no and the ref waved the fight

over. It was announced later that Saki had broken his right elbow and hand.

Fight 9 - Super Fight

Singh "Heart" Jaideep wins by knockout at 2:58 of the first round over Sergey Kharitonov

Towards the end of the first round, Kharitonov was stunned with a short right hook and Jaideep took

eventually got tagged with an overhand right that put him down (up at the count of two) - and with less than

10 seconds left in the round, the fight resumed and Jaideep immediately landed an overhand right that sent

keep himself up and the ref quickly jumped in and stopped the bout.

Fight 10 - 2010 K-1 World Grand Prix Tournament Final (2 Rd ext if needed)

Alistair Overeem wins by knockout at 1:07 of the first round over Peter Aerts

In the first round, Overeem hurt Aerts with a left knee to the body - from that point on, Overeem pounced on

Aerts throwing strikes and a knee that forced Aerts to cover up in a corner. As Overeem stepped back to

gain a little distance, Aerts just put his arms down and looked like he wanted a standing eight count from

the ref. Overeem then quickly came in and landed an overhand right forcing Aerts to cover up again - at this

point, the ref started to come in but not before Overeem landed a couple of overhand rights and a left to the

body that sent Aerts down. The ref began the count and reached the count of ten at the same time Aerts got

up...but it was too late for Aerts, the ref waved the fight over. Alistair Overeem wins the 2010 K-1 World

Grand Prix Tournament (and is still the Strikeforce MMA Heavyweight Champion). Peter Aerts went into the

final with a cut above his right eye he sustained in the Schilt Semi-Final bout.
