Jorge Pereira & Wander Braga Video Interview
Late last week, we had the good fortune of visiting Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt and undefeated MMA fighter Wander Braga at his school - Gauntlet Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu located in Upland, California. It was the perfect time to visit as Wander's sensei Jorge Pereira (Rickson Gracie Black Belt and promoter of RioHeroes) was in town for the World Jiu-Jitsu No-Gi Championship and was there conducting a seminar.
As a matter of fact, both men were in training for the 2008 World Jiu-Jitsu No-Gi Championship that was held this past weekend in Carson, California - Jorge won the Black Belt Senior 2 Male Medium Heavy division and was second in the Black Belt Senior 2 Male Open Class. Wander took second place in both the Black Belt Master Male Light and Open Class divisions (for complete results, visit: www.ibjjf.org/results/2008nogi.htm).
We spoke with both men about about MMA, Vale Tudo and what the difference is between the two.
