scored the bout 117-110 Ouma, 114-113 Rubio, 116-111 Ouma - Ouma downed in the first - Ouma retains

WBC Welterweight Title Bout

Oscar De La Hoya (38-4, 30 KOs) wins by sixth round TKO over Ricardo Mayorga (28-6-1, 23 KOs) -

Mayorga downed in the first and sixth - Mayorga went down from a flurry of punches in the sixth set up by

body punches - And with 1:25 left in the sixth,  the ref jumped in to stop the bout as Mayorga fell to a knee

from a flurry of punches from De La Hoya - De la Hoya wins title from Mayorga.
